Business looks brighter with Optoma’s new corporate range

High resolution, versatile and powerful

Optoma has just launched a new range of corporate projectors designed for brighter, higher resolution presentations across boardrooms, meeting rooms and offices - where detail really matters.

The four new models WU470, EH470, EH461 and EH460ST feature high native resolution (WUXGA and 1080p) and produce an exceptional brightness of up to 5000 lumens for superior images even in meeting rooms with ambient light.

All models come with the added benefit of four corner geometric adjustment allowing for quick and accurate installation, ideal for uneven walls or where a projector placement is awkward and needs to be installed at an angle. The EH460ST includes a short throw lens for a 100 inch image on a screen or wall from just over a metre away – ideal in installations such as retail, museums, education and the corporate sector.

With OfficeViewer functionality built in, presentations can be plugged in and played via the projector’s built-in media player without the need for a laptop or PC. It also supports Excel, Word, PDF and JPEGs.

Kishan Mistry, Senior Product Manager at Optoma EMEA, commented: “Our new projector range offers an extremely cost-effective solution for businesses that want higher resolution and higher quality imagery in their meeting rooms. They can also be managed and monitored remotely through network control.

“For added flexibility, the geometric adjustment cuts out the need for a separate warping processor and is extremely intuitive to use.”

Full support is provided for Crestron, Extron, AMX, PJ-Link and Telnet LAN commands, which allow almost all aspects of these projectors to be controlled remotely across a network. They have extensive connectivity with multiple inputs including HDMI, VGA, RJ45 and 12V trigger. An audio input in also included which cuts out the need for additional costly audio hardware and cabling.

The chassis design is compact yet powerful and incorporates a built-in speaker that delivers 10W audio. For wireless presentations from a laptop or mobile device, the Optoma wireless WUSB adapter (sold separately) can be connected to the USB output.

The new models have an Eco mode for energy saving which includes standby mode and auto power off.  And because they are virtually maintenance free, they offer an overall lower cost of ownership, longer life and improved reliability.
